The Early Years

Steven Paul Jobs was born on February 24, 1955 and was given up for adoption by his biological parents Abdulfattah “John” Jandali and Joanne Schieble and taken into custody by Clara and Paul Jobs.
In elementary school, Jobs caused trouble when it came to studying although he tested well in terms of intelligence. The school administrators advised to get advance him to high school but his parents refused to do so.
When he was enrolled in Homestead High school, Jobs was introduced to Steve Wozniak who would eventually become his future partner in founding Apple. Wozniak spoke about why he and Jobs clicked so well: "We both loved electronics and the way we used to hook up digital chips," Wozniak said.

Founding Apple

Both Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak were college dropouts that founded apple computers on April 1, 1976. Jobs and Wozniak had a common vision in wanting people to be able to own small enough computers to have in their homes or in their offices, as well as, the computers being user friendly. However, because of withdrawing interest, Wozniak left apple in 1983. Apple was still doing well during the 1980s, and had its highest profits in the 90s .  But after this peak, by 1996 it was believed that the company has reached its doom with the growing competition and similarity with Bill Gates’ computer operating system. Jobs had found a way to improve his own company with the creation of iBook, iPod, and iTunes.

Death of Steve Jobs

Steve jobs was a brilliant man that left a legacy after he died at the age of 56 on October 5,2011 from pancreatic cancer.  After his death, a lot of questions were circulating about what is going to happen to the company now that its co-founder and its icon passed away. Jobs first discovered his pancreatic cancer in 2003, but he kept on delaying the surgery for about nine months. This definitely made Apple’s board of directors very nervous. After that, he had a successful surgery and removed his tumor in 2004, and in the coming years he did not speak publicly about his health issues.

The Movie

There have been many adaptations of Steve Jobs’ life in films. The first one was 1999’s “The Pirates Of The Silicon Valley” starring ER’s Noah Wyle. Jobs was later portrayed in another movie by Ashton Kutcher called “Jobs” in 2011, but it was on the receiving end of criticisms saying that the movie was quiet disappointing and an unfair representation of his life. However a new movie about Steve Jobs is coming out on October 9, 2015 directed by Danny Boyle, written by “The Social Network” writer Aaron Sorkin and starring the hottest commodity in Hollywood the German/Irish Michael Fassbender. Personally, I am anticipating to watch it because of the high caliber of the cast and crew and hopefully it will live up to the promise that we will finally witness a worthy adaption of the legend.
