The Early Years

Steven Paul Jobs was born on February 24, 1955 and was given up for adoption by his biological parents Abdulfattah “John” Jandali and Joanne Schieble and taken into custody by Clara and Paul Jobs.

In elementary school, Jobs caused trouble when it came to studying although he tested well in terms of intelligence. The school administrators advised to get advance him to high school but his parents refused to do so.

When he was enrolled in Homestead High school, Jobs was introduced to Steve Wozniak who would eventually become his future partner in founding Apple. Wozniak spoke about why he and Jobs clicked so well: "We both loved electronics and the way we used to hook up digital chips," Wozniak said.
